Zum Herz in Neresheim

I stayed at the "Herz" two years ago on an HW1 hike - and again later with my husband on a smaller hike. It was simply my salvation after a long HW1 hike. The room was wonderful with a shower, a nice big bed, TV and even a balcony. The breakfast was good and plentiful, the landlady a very nice woman. One can only wish for such pensions. I or we will come back and stay there in the hope that this pension will be there for a long time to come.

Simply good

We stayed at the Gasthof "Zum Herz" for one night on our hike on the HW1. Despite the day of rest (Mondays), the very friendly landlady offered us a really delicious and inexpensive dinner (roast pork with spaetzle, dumplings and a side salad). Breakfast the next morning was also delicious and rich! Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures. Our booked guest room in the guest house of the landlady 50 meters away, which she lives on the ground floor, is not included in this rating. The rooms on the 1st floor have been converted into guest rooms, some with their own shower, but all with a toilet for shared use. Everything was quite clean and well-kept for its age. The 60s style is not for everyone. But if you are looking for purpose-oriented accommodation on HW1, you can check in here without hesitation.

The rooms in the guest house are decorated in the style of the 70s, the warm and hospitable-caring reception by the hosts more than made up for it. In the evening there was schnitzel with french fries, spaetzle, homemade potato salad and nice conversations with locals in front of the inn. Just beautiful!

Quaint, as in the fifties - in the time stopped restaurant. The opening hours should be considered. Will not open every day.

The place has a cozy atmosphere with older charm! The service is very good, the hostess cooks herself and is a taste miracle! For guests who want to reap over a guesthouse is available!
